Ship Select Code


With the use of the CWCheat Pointers Searcher, I have, at last, found a Ship Select code for the main game. Because it uses a Dynamic Memory Address for this value, it changes between games, unless you locate the source address (_C0 SHIP 1 SELECT (AI VERSION) _L 0x6017E928 0x000000XX _L 0x0000002C ... where XX is the hex equivalent of the ship value e.g. 01 (01 dec) is the USS Essex, 5A (90 dec) is the Vulcan Shuttle). Now that's been solved, here's a list of the playable ships/stations (see the Unused Models section for details of deleted ships/stations):

Although there are supposedly different versions of the main Federation, Klingon and Romulan ships, their stats do not really change. Neither do the game models. The ShipData.txt lists different names for many of these, though. As the Klingon space station has weapons, it may be possible to add engine data to its entry in this file to allow movement.
