Glover 2 Prototype (N64)
This has just been released into the wild by Nesworld, so research is pretty basic at the moment. As mentioned over at Nesworld, this prototype has a Level Select option in the main game menu. This can be accessed by pressing the L shoulder button at the Game Select menu.
From this, you get all the levels in the game, but not all of these load, and some are incomplete, which is to be expected with a prototype game.
Some codes from the first Glover game can be used, entering them at the Pause menu.
All Cheats Off D,D,D,D,D,D,D,D
All Spells Cast U,U,U,U,U,U,U,U
Ball Energy R,R,R,R,R,R,R,R
Fish-Eye View L,R,L,R,L,R,L,R
Infinite Energy R,R,D,R,R,R,U,L
Infinite Lives U,U,U,U,U,R,D,R
Low Gravity L,L,U,L,R,U,U,U
Camera Rotate L R,D,R,D,U,U,R,L
Camera Rotate R L,R,U,U,D,R,D,R
Speed Up L,L,R,U,R,L,D,D
Spell Energy L,L,L,L,L,L,L,L
Call Ball U,L,L,U,R,L,D,U
Having converted the coding into readable text, there is a list which matches the above options. There are two codes left to find: Stun Bovva and Swim In Air. As the input permutations are quite large, this could some time!
Nesworld has posted information on another menu option: press the L shoulder button during a paused game, and a new menu comes up:
This seems to list various events in the game, possibly for debugging uses. These options can be changed and the game continued. However, pressing L again brings up another menu:
This seems to allow certain weapons, spells or abilities to be available to the player. The options can be changed, with either the letters A or C coming up, or no letter at all. How these are used remain to be seen.
More on this as I play through it. Thanks for Team Carrot and Nesworld for the release.
